Accidental Video 010

[A small, slightly stocky child in a dress sits against a wall in one of the hallways. It's clear she doesn't know she's being recorded. Soft, pitiful sniffles can be heard. If her damp face is any indication, she's been crying for a while.

For how upset she is, she's being awfully quiet about it.

The girl rubs her nose on the collar of her dress and scuffs her shoes on the floor.]

[Puck's in his room, maybe or maybe not practicing that stupid turn that he still couldn't get. It's also good for keeping him from thinking about that weird dream he had.

He hears something strange coming from the comm. Is that someone crying? For some reason, he feels he has to check this out.]

[She picks the comm up and puts it in her lap, looking down at it. Her fists rubs against her eyes a couple times before she finally says something.]

[It feels weird calling her that when she's a little girl, but he doesn't know what else to say.]

[ If there was ever a good time to be afraid of absolutely everything then it's probably now. Little boys are still scared of monsters and it doesn't help that this little boy remembers growing up and discovering that they're all real.

The voice that reminds him that this is not really who he is is still whispering to him, but the voice of reason that encourages him to act the part is mostly gone.

So he does what he did ever so often when he was still little: Looking for cover and peeking around corners to make sure that wherever he's heading next is safe, that who or whatever is waiting for him will be no threat.

As he's quietly peeking around the corner here it takes him a little longer to decide what to make of this particular girl. ]

[So Sokka keeps on running into people who are crying. Is this a thing now? Because, really, he escaped Katara and Zuko to have some fun.

He may be one of the few kids not scared of out of his mind right now. He was a man! ...You know, regardless of the event turning him into a six year old. He had to be strong, regardless of the circumstances! He would be letting the mansion win if he were scared.

...The least he can do is try cheering her up.
