[A small, slightly stocky child in a dress sits against a wall in one of the hallways. It's clear she doesn't know she's being recorded. Soft, pitiful sniffles can be heard. If her damp face is any indication, she's been crying for a while.

For how upset she is, she's being awfully quiet about it.

The girl rubs her nose on the collar of her dress and scuffs her shoes on the floor.]

[A slightly frazzled looking Beiste appears on screen, running a hand through her hair before she even begins to speak.]

Okay, so, I waited, and it don't seem like that Bhamba wingnut-- uh, guy is coming back anytime soon. I found one of the baby crocodiles though, so I guess I was just wonderin' if anybody else found the others.

That and uh, how do you take care of one of these things? This one-- Roberta, I guess --she eats just about any kinda meat I give her, but I figure there's probably one kind I should be using, right?

[CONFESSION TIME: Bhamba probably took better care of them than she could. Whoops.]

[I ain't no fancy PI with the glamorous, fill 'em with daylight life you always hear about in the papes, but I'm still important. Sometimes I'm all that keeps this stupid place from fallin' to the wayside.

[Beiste's not the type to broadcast her emotions, so it's pretty clear from the get go this is an accidental taping. Shannon is sitting on her bed, hugging a pillow, and though it's clear she hasn't been and isn't really about to cry, the possibility still sort of hangs in the air around her.
